“So, where do you want to go take some photos?”
That’s always a though question to answer!
Today I want to talk about how important it is to take some time to shoot few couple photographs during your wedding day and which are the criteria you’d want to keep in mind when you’re about to choose the best setting for them.
First things first: “I don’t like posed photographs, why would I want wedding couple shots?”
Well that’s good news, we don’t like them either!
The reason why it is so important to take some time to take couple photographs during your wedding day is that this way you’ll be able to stop for a moment in the middle of a storm of emotions, look into each others eyes and spend some quality time together. Genuine laughters, hugs and kisses will be just natural consequences of you realizing you’re finally husband and wife, that’s what we really look for as wedding photographers and believe us, you’ll be glad you did it.
Okay then, let’s do this! But.. where?
Sometimes you don’t even need to look any further than the location you’ve already booked for your wedding day! As destination wedding photographers we have noticed that the new generations of wedding venues (whether you’re having a luxury wedding on Como Lake, a boho-chic inspired wedding in Tuscany, a wedding by the sea on the Amalfi Coast or a total white wedding in Apulia) they provide more and more fantastic locations where you can take your wedding couple photos surrounded by a magical atmosphere !
However we suggest you choose a place that represents you, that is as unique and personal as possible rather than choosing a postcard cliche that often, doesn’t even fit the situation. Keep in mind that a suggestive atmosphere is a precious element to make a beautiful photograph and that it’s important to choose a place that’s not so crowded in order to create the necessary intimacy to feel at ease and spontaneously live your emotions.
Last but not least, don’t forget to consider that light is the key factor influencing photography, so carefully choose the time of the day in which your wedding couple shots will be taken in order to get the exact mood that you want.
